Well, Daycare was closed this week due to MaryLou being sick. Funny, it ended up that Avery came down with a cold anyway...so is life. After JJ accidentally took the car seat with him to Lewiston (leaving us trapped at home the WHOLE day) I decided I needed to come up with some new activities to keep a whiny 16 month old busy and Mommy sane. After taping paper down on the table I let Avery go to town coloring. I had been hesitant to let her color again, after eating crayons the last time. This time she loved it (and no crayons were eatin') and it filled a good 1/2 hour with happiness vs whining.

Super cute, Abbey still puts hers in her mouth from time to time, but we can usually color for 5 minutes before that happens :)
