Riverfront Park

We went down to Riverfront Park today, and Avery had the best time. She rode the carousel with Dad and played in the fountain. She was a bit leery of the carousel because "Otto"the Indians mascot was on the carousel also. If you've heard the Red Robin story you know what I'm talking about. Dressed up mascots freak the girl out! Luckily there was no melt down this time....we kept our distance! Once the thing got rolling though she had a blast squealing with joy and waving to Mommy as she sailed by! The fountian on the other hand was an instant success. She was dancing with excitement, we sure wished we would have brought her suit. It was a great morning, she sure did seem big trotting around the park!

Play Dates

It has been a busy week. We started the week with a playdate

with cousin Grace. We went to Manito and saw the ducks.

Avery liked the ducks, but

as you can see by her face hated the idea of getting off

of the bench to see the ducks! We finished the week

with a nice visit from my friends Casey

and Chrissy and their kiddos. They are too cute together!

the picture at the beginning of the playdate, not right

before naps!
