Two Bumps!?!?!

Well, about 9 months ago a small pea sized bumped appeared on little miss Avery's neck. If
you asked her where her bump was she would kindly look to the sky to show off
her bump on her neck. The doctors weren't sure what it was, but were pretty sure it wasn't
anything too worrisome....but said that we should probably get it removed. Of course I delayed
having this done due to the fact that I didn't want my baby being cut into & put under, no matter
how simple the procedure. Well, we finally had the bump removed this week....the dressing is
still on....and no matter how many times I explain it, Avery continues to believe that now there are "2 bumps!". This picture was taken when we first got home and she was still drowsy from
the drugs....that lasted about 2 hours and then she was back to her busy self!

A girl and her dog

Since Nora can't run, jump or play hide and seek yet, Avery's relationship
with Bentley has really flourished. They really are buddies these days. Whether it is
running around the yard or Avery hiding and waiting for Bentley to find her, they are constantly playing together. It's pretty funny, Bentley will pretty much put up with ANYTHING from
Avery....and continue to love her company.

Give her some space!

Avery just loves Nora, sometimes too much. Since Avery
has no idea what "personal space" is, her
love for her sister can sometimes be a bit
overwhelming for her. Avery is always watching her, smothering her
with hugs, or holding her hand. It's pretty darn cute!

I think Nora has had enough bonding time in this picture.

Just watchin' some toons together....holding hands or course!

A few times a day Avery will request, " I hold Nora (Noah in Avery language).
It lasts for a split second and then she is satisfied.

Greenbluff 2010

Avery and Nora got to "do" Greenbluff
twice this year! We went once with the MOPS group
and again with our small group from church, both times we
had a blast. I must say it was tough getting good pictures
this year, what with having 2 kids to worry about and a 2 year old
who doesn't stop moving or whining (plus we didn't
have our usual "professional" photographer with us this year.
As you can see a good time was had by all!

Cousins

While Auntie Dev, Uncle Pete & Cousins Abbey and Lilly
were visiting we had Grandpa Mike come up for a
photo session with the girls. It was much harder than
we ever imagined! We did manage to get ONE
good shot of each group....barely :). Boy was it fun
to have the cousins here to visit for 2 weeks, we miss them
already.
