Sitting

I left Avery in her crib to play for a little while this morning.

I put her in the sitting position,

since she's been doing pretty well on her own lately.

It was just soo cute to walk through the door and see her little head

poking over the edge of the crib.

Of course she noticed my arrival right away. I can't

pull anything past this one.

And of course, toys all around,

soaked in drool, and hanging

out of her mouth.

A "Gay" old time at the "Gass" household!

One of the best parts about the holidays is the family

that is around. Uncle Peter, Auntie Devon & Cousin Abbey

came all the way from Atlanta. They stayed with us a few nights, it was so

fun to see the cousins together.

Soo Interesting!

Avery now rolls immediately to her tummy. Once there,

anything within reach goes straight to the mouth.

As you can see she is trying to go for the camera in the second pic.

Check Out My New Moves!

As you can see Avery can now grab her feet and toes. She works so hard on getting
them into her mouth, just to have them slip away. I'm sure she will have the sucking on

her toes trick down real soon.

Avery & Julia

Avery and Julia were born weeks apart. They are destined

to be best buds! We get together every other Wednesday

morning. It is so much fun to see them together and to watch

them change. It is also very clear that Julia and Avery are opposites

in many ways.... when one has a good morning, then the other
has a hard one..... Avery loves the swing on its highest
power and Julia will only sit in it, no movement allowed! Well, don't they say

that opposites attract?
